Union University, Currently a front-page Yahoo news item

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Also, I saw that “Union University” was in the top ten Google Searches (as high as 6 that I saw) for the entire day. That is pretty incredible given that it was “Super Tuesday”. Pray that with all the exposure, the name of Christ would be glorified even in the midst of devastating property destruction. And once again, praise God that nobody was killed. With the images coming in, that is simply amazing.

Among countless other towns spread out over several states who have lived through violent storms today, please be in prayer for my alma mater Union University in Jackson, Tennessee tonight. They were hit by either a tornado or severely strong winds (no official word yet).

Dr. Dobson on McCain (new)

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

I’m deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage, who voted for embryonic stem cell research to kill nascent human beings, who opposed tax cuts that ended the marriage penalty, and who has little regard for freedom of speech, who organized the Gang of 14 to preserve filibusters, and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language.
